Has taught bluegrass guitar for over 17 years at the Swannanoa Gathering (Asheville), has published a Bluegrass flatpicking book, "Deep Bluegrass Guitar" and has recorded 6 albums with Wood & Steel and Skip Kelley.

Steve Hodge : Shadows of Thyme, Stutz and the Bearcats, Frieburg, Nightbird, various Top 40, country & r&r combos. Since '85, with John Tatum & Bob Tarleton w/ several 4ths & 5ths and as a 3 piece in The Promise Breakers. Since '11 2 Old Guys Playing Classic Rock, and Rockers in '14.
